Mann's crankbaits?
I got some of these at gander this weekend, one was a lipped crank with a thin body, pretty freaking looking!
Got about 7 I think! I also got a mann's Weasel swims really cool! any one used them? I know they have good soft about, how about hard baits? Thanks!

I love the Baby 1- and the Baby 1- Elite Series. Another great bait i love but is no longer made is The Baby 4-, one of the best shallow cranks for me, and i can't find them anywhere.

I am a cranker and I use one Mann bait, mostly because of the color it is and not a good match from other companies. I use mostly Bandit and Normann lures, the reason they offer the most colors and I like thier shape. Color is the number one factor for me ,then shape in my technique, mostly away from mosts choice, so this benefits me. To me Mann is hell bent on the shallow thing, one minus ect. me, 4-7 feet is just fine.

i agree with cc here manns baits come in odd colors compared to other bait company's. like cc i use mostly bandits and normans because of color choices..

The 1- is a great crankbait and a great alternative to a spinnerbait at times. Dont know much about the weasel though.

The 1- and Baby 1- are tried and true baits on tidal rivers over emerging grass or in shallow water. I heard that the Loudmouth Deep Diving crankbait is good for convict bass on the Bay.

Good info here, looks like the Baby 1- is the way to go.
I've never fished a Mann's lure but I'm always lookin for new additions to my tackle box. They do have some wierd colors but the Bluegill and Chrome/Black look good

I do like the colors! I got one in "Bone" I can't remember the last time I've seen a crank in bone!

That's a different one than I saw in BPS. I generally prefer cranks with rattles. 2 of my favorite lures are rattle cranks BPS XPS Nitro Minnow Cotton Cordell Jointed Grappler Shad I also recently added a Reef Runners and Gravediggers to my collection. I can't wait to try em out

Any time, although take any advice from me with a grain of salt...maybe add a dash of Tabasco. Last year was my 1st year back on the lakes after 9 years off. Learnin all over again. Didn't help that a former fishin buddy moved to Florida, apparently with my Browning Medallion. Anyone need 2 spare spools?
