Smile Large Profile Buzz & Spinner Baits

Was on Bass chat and couldn't figure out how to reply. Poster was taking single strands of skirt material and putting them thru the bottom os Senkos.

My boat partner and I read that and basically made a skirt on a 1/2 a Senko and added it to a Spinnerbait and a Buzz Bait. Full skirt band and all over the senko. gives a larger profile. Less speed to keep it high in the water column. Lets the Buzz bait come to the surface faster and fished at a slower speed. Have field tested in lake with few Bass. But can't wait til later in the week when the weather in Central Indiana will let us go to one of our honey holes with abundant Bass to see how they work. Will post results as soon as we can.

You can imitate a dragon fly pretty good that way also.

While I have not thought of threading something through the senko, for a while now, I have cut the bottom 1 inch of the senko into a skirt with a razor.

Went today, Caught a 1.60.1.64, 1.74 and a 1.91 lb on the spinner bait. We didn't have a hit on the Buzzbait but they didn't hit anything on top water so not a good test. Let U know further next time we get on the water which hopefully will be some time later in the week at a different and clearer lake. Keep in mind this is a full skirt just like u would use to replace the original skirt on a spinnerbait or buzzbait.
