Default Beat by a kid

I took my nephew fishing this morning, he only caught one fish but it was a 4 1/2-5 pounder. I caught probably 20 fish but my biggest was only around 2 pounds. I came to the conclusion that I am one heck of a guide.

lol, that's kinda even IMO. 20 fish vs. 1 4 1/2lb fish.

But, congrats to both of you!

Ryan, it's a 185 DVX with the full Comanche package. I had it set up that way to fish FLW. I have used skeeter as a sign on since 2002 when I bought a new Skeeter, just never changed it. That Skeeter was the best boat I ever owned, wish I still had it.

Skeeter or Ranger both are good boats.
I take a whoopin by my kid all the time. Today I just got lucky.

i may be wrong here, but i think SKEETER boats are the only hand laid glass rigs still in production. got a friend who has one, rode in it, NICE.

I'm not sure about hand laid but there are only 3 manufacturers using 7 layer fiberglass. Ranger, Skeeter and Charger. I like my Ranger but the ride of the Skeeter is hard to beat in rough water.

Chris, Bama and my little buddy runs a Skeeter 20I with a 250 Series 2 Yammy pushing it. Smooth, high riding, eyebrow-parting, ride for sure!

Boy you ain't kidding John, I've been beat by pretty much anyone that has ever touched a rod and reel. It sure is fun though to see the look on their face and see them get hooked for life.
