Default You guys have to try Living rubber!

I sent some of the Custom Big Bass Baits Living Rubber Jigs(Black Spice) to my partner in Idaho and heres a fish he caught yesterday when its 28 degrees outside. I think they are the best Jigs bc they feel like more a crawfish in a fish's mouth, plus when you let the jig sit,the skirt expands and it looks like a crawfish trying to defend itself, and the arky style head makes the chunk stand up looking more realistic. It works great in cold whether too, plus you catch big fish with the bigger profile. Heres my 2 favorite colors,Black Spice & Green Pumpkin Brown

I'll hit those up at some point. I like the look of the Arky jighead. Its different than any jig I have. Booyah has a color that looks like the brown spice, and after junebug, its my jig color of choice.

Wow! Those are some really nice looking jigs, and a great bass too. It really looks like they flare out very well from the pics!! When are those going to be available at CBBB.com?

Living rubber skirted jigs have been around for more then 30 years. They are nothing new, but they do have their place. Living rubber skirts on arkie head jigs with a pork trailer work well in cold water, especially around rock points and shorelines.

Stanley jigs made some of the best living rubber jigs going back in the 80's. They were so popular that Allstar rods made two rods, the Stanley jig 1 and the Stanley Jig II, especially for fishing the various weights of the living rubber Stanley Jig.

You've intrigued me!! Can I still get some of these any where? E-bay, any places like Tackle warehouse or something?

Did that come out of CDA lake?? that is a heck of a large mouth for out here. I got a couple of the pigskin jigs with live rubber skirt and the smallmouth seem to like them as well or better than my all terrain jigs.

Don't mix your rubber skirts in with the silicone skirts or you will be one unhappy camper.Keep a bit of baby powder in your rubber skirts box as well and keep them out of the sun.

Looking back is fine, but only when you know the shuttle has been hit high enough that you have plenty of time for a quick peek at where its going.

You must never look back if theres a chance your partner is about to hit the shuttle.

Baron, I used to get Stanley jigs from Lonnie himself. I still have a few floating aroung here. I always loved the paint job and multi-colored weedguards.
