Going back to school
I know it's hard to tell that I aint very edmucated.
But truth be told I quit school in the 9th grade as soon as I turned 16. Yup do the math and you'll find a flunked a couple grades. Hard to pass when you spent more time skipping school to go smoke hams n such. Why go back at this late stage in my life? It's just always been something I regretted. As I matured and began to realize what a mistake it was, I was already working full-time and to be honest still had my head too much into getting drunk when I won't working to do anything about it. Gonna change that. A lot of people have asked why not just get a GED. That's partially a personal thing, if I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna do it right. I'm not going to settle for a GED. I want the HSD and I'm gonna get it, then move on to classes that can help me hopefully find a way to make a better income. I can't do the physical labor I used to do because of my health problems so I'm gonna try and find a better life with something else. A lot of people keep trying to tell me a GED is the equivalent and something as a HSD. It's not. And I know from my experience being a dept manager, employers do not look at it as the equivalent and certainly not the same thing. So I shall start my student orientation on the 19th, take my placement test in there some where and hopefully score a 9.0 so I can go on to the HS classes. Otherwise I'll be in the ged classes for a refresher till I eventually do score that 9.0. Pray for me please. lol
