Default Your Favorite Hook Brand?

What is your favorite hook brand and why?

I know many people use different trebles than worm hooks, but pick your general favorite.

I use more Gamakatsu hooks than any other brand. I like Owner and Mustad for certain applications and I use a lot of treble hooks by all 3 brands. It's a pretty narrow margin but Gammy is my favorite hook brand.

Gamakatsu hooks mostly. I would like to try Trokar, but I will not pay those prices.

I have to say Gamakatsu's been making itself comfy in my hook box a lot lately...I just wish the finesse wg weedless hook guard was a bit more durable...They seem to fall apart after one or two fish...But thats a small battle I dont mind losing.
The rest I own have been solid!.

I really like the Trokar hooks for heavyweight soft plastics and soft plastic swimbaits, but I still use Mustad hooks more than any other.

I have been toying with Mustad Hooks more and more lately, and I am really liking them... I am slowly changing to all Mustads.

I voted Mustad because I use their hooks for more applications than other brands. However I also like Gamakatsu a lot for soft plastics. Next time I am needing some hooks I plan on ordering from Hookerz Tackle and trying their hooks out as well.

I actually have Gammys, Mustads and Owners and I really can't say I prefer one over the other. All three seem to work equally well for me. I just choose the exact style and size I need at the time.

Owner for me. I prefer their edge and they have held up better for me.
I do have plenty of gammy's simply because I can get them in more places.

I prefer Gammies in a single hook. Excellent hook in a varity of style & size. The EWG, skipping hook and weedless dropshot hook are my favorites. Owner for trebles, sharp hook that holds up well, I prefer the round bend in black nickel, best treble hook out there and their feathered treble is an excellent replacement fom my wake baits and top water poppers.

I use Gammy, Eagle Claw Lazer Sharp, Owner, and lots of Mustads. I don't really have a favorite but if you look in my hook box I think that you will find more Gammy than anything else. For light-wire worm hooks I like Gammy, but really like Owner's Cutting Point on heavier wire hooks. I have no desire to try Trokars; and I have even heard bad things about the tips rolling over.

I'd have to say Gamakatsu because I really like the skip gap a lot.

I would always use Daiichi offsets and thought they were the absolutely best. This is my first year using Gamakatsu and now I see what all the hype is about. They are awesome!!! I think it will be Gamakatsu from now on.

Eagle Claw. Their "lazer sharp" series is good. GREAT for the price..
