Default New Member Intro - HFace55

Hey, fellow bass enthusiasts, I'm a brand new member here, I just found bassfishin.com the other day and was perusing the forums and so I thought I ought to sign up.

My name is Brian and I live south of Chicago.

I just starting getting into bass fishing last year, and I am part of a Bass Fishing Club at my high school...

Ummm I don't really know too much about bass fishing speaking from personal experience, but I've learned a lot through the club and on the internet etc.

I have a decent amount of tackle, and I use primarily a 7' H Shimano Charus with 14 lb Fluorocarbon and a Rapala SX6i 5.2:1 ratio spinning reel.

Welcome to the site! Where do you fish around there? I know Newton is a few hours south of you but has some big bass and a warm water discharge side. I've also heard about some really good streams around your area, not sure the names though.

Welcome to the asylum, Brian. Don't let all of the crazies bother you...you'll be nuts too after a couple years of bass fishing.
