Default A football jig and my wife's custom jig.

First I had this 1/2oz football jig with some green pumpkin/purple skirt mixed with some brown and purple round rubber skirt. It's a bulky bait but I'm hoping it will stick a pig for me at Table Rock in May.

Next is my wife's jig. She puts up with me always at my table tying jigs and the other day while we were at the tackle store getting tying materials she wanted to know if I'd make her one. I don't know if it will catch any fish but I think her little finesse jig turned out well.

It's a little 1/8oz head so she shouldn't have any problem fishing it on her spinning rod at least.

Good looking jigs. PB&J with a green pumpkin trailer is also a killer color on Table Rock, in all areas of the lake.

Your wifes jig looks good and I bet it will surprise you with how many fish it will catch. Also if you throw a few strands of yellow in it you have a great jig for smallies on Table Rock.

Beautiful works of art that should also make good tools!
I really have an interest on how your wifes works out.
I hear alot about the 'pink worm', but never anything on pink jigs. I always wondered why? So please keep us posted on her success...oh i quess you can tell us about yours too.

I know a few guys around here that use pink jigs but don't talk about it, if you know what I mean. Like I said earlier, pink and yellow is a great smallmouth color on Table Rock, and I am sure Table Rock isn't the only lake that color is good on.
