Arg! My local Lake!
I've been fishing in my hometown lake for 4 days now for a total of 17 hours! I have Not caught one single bass! I have bought spinnerbaits topwater lures at my Local Academy store and tried them all for at least 2 hours each! Could any on tell me techniques to catch more bass and what kind of baits or lures?

Welcome to the forum!
Where in South Texas are you located? Back to the question-this tome of year when fishing a pond I reach for a soft plastic stickbait like a Tiki Stick or Yum Dinger. I rig them either weedless and weightless or wacky. Cast them out and work them with twitches of the rod tip.
