Rod Building - Blanks
To all you builders out there... I am really leaning towards trying to build my next stick vs. buying one. Do you have a favorite blank supplier?

Depending on how much you want to spend, there are a couple I'd buy.
1. If you can still find them, G.Loomis. I think Net Craft still has them. I think the IMX is the best value for the money. http://www.jannsnetcraft.com/rod-blanks-gloomis/ 2. Phenix Rods sell their blanks on their website. I've never used one, but heard thay are good. http://www.phenixrods.com/products/r...ng-rod-blanks/ 3. Rainshadow makes good, and very affordable blanks. My crankbait rod is one of theirs, and my dad has a spinning rods he built on a rainshadow blank. I really like both of the rods. http://www.jannsnetcraft.com/rod-blanks-rainshadow/ I'm very interested in seeing what some of the other rod builders on here think. BB
