Casting Plugs
Never seemed to have something I can practice with that works good in grass or water and what ever I think will make do doesnt. Made these four that work great. Having 4 no snag, easy to read plugs makes finding the optimum weight for any rig quick and dirty. Use one at a time or clip on more than one to gain weight.
.223 case (1/4 and 1/2 oz) and 22-250 case ( 3/4 oz and 1.0 oz), filled with #7 shot crimped and drilled and labeled.

That is pretty cool. I just use pencil lead. Not the kind found in wooden pencils. I have a pair of special pliers used by river anglers fishing for steelhead and salmon that cut the lead to size, flatten one end, and pole a hole to tie the knot.
