Default cleaning a aluminum bass tracker

What is the best way to clean the silver on the 170 tx? My dealership is offering a one time service for 200 bucks that he says will keep the boat shining and show no water line. It takes two days to wipe on and dry. Has anybody heard of this procedure? Is it worth the money. What are some other cleaning solutions that could work.

I dont know, but what I do know is dealerships have a way of severly over-pricing things, when you can find an alternative for a much cheaper cost.

Tell that dealer to take a HIKE. Go to your local auto dealer and get some ALUMA shine and do it yourself. FOLLOW DIRECTIONS so you wont leave any streaks. After using the Aluma SHine WAX the sides and cap of the boat. It will help to keep the water line and gunk from taking away from the shine again.
