First off, my 7'6'' St. Croix is actually lighter than my G-Loomis. Second, I'll post that picture here in an hour or less, with the date, no face because I'm taking the picture, and third, wait a while until I get the CD to post those pics.

Wuzz Bing, isn't the St Crow 7'6" a spinning rod? if so, most psinning rods are lgihter than most trigger rods. Don't know why, but they are. The shimano crucial DS rod I'm going to get is lighter than 6'6" MH Loomis trigger rod. IMO, Loomis is still wayy better than St Crow (hehehe Zook...), infact I think a lot of rods are.

I guess I forgot to mention, both are spinning. I was gonna get the Crucial, but it was too light power for what I wanted, and I had the extra cash, you know how it is...

Here's a few pics.

I imagine the G-Loomis may surpass the St. Croix, but for a median priced rod, St. Croix's straight up work. Like most fishing junk....errr....equiptment, it's all preference.

Doc, that's a pretty cool rod rack. You build it yourself?
