Default Super Steelers Super Bowl Champs

Looks like I was right all the time-Pittsburgh Steelers all the way. The bus is in the garage. Turn out the lights the party is over. Thanks guys for a great year.

I thought it was a poorly played game with a couple of exceptions on both sides. I also think the refs did a lousy job. I'm not mad at Pittsburg winning, I wanted to see a good game. I think Holmgren made some HUGE mistakes in play calling, and clock control. And I think Pittsburg shoulda been running the ball, especailly with the lead. I thought the commercials were the best part. I'm happy for the Steeler fans, and hope to see Seattle back again. Both teams had a great year. Congrats to the victors.

I would have to agree with lizard. Poor officiating and poor ball handling. But like he said the commercials were gret. Lousy job with the National Anthem. Lousy half time show. I like the ameritrade commercials espcially the one on the plane.

Seattle was just not supposed to win-too many breaks went against them. TDs called back, penalties at the worst possible times, a major brain fart at the end of the half-it just wasn't their night.

I think Seattle had the better team, but all that matters is the scoreboard.

Congrats to the Steelers on the win!

I have nothing against the steelers but i think the first touchdown they made was BS.

ben roethlisburger made it just to the white lnie. thats a TD. but i think the cal for the push-off on the seahawks was nonsense, and the steelers were outplayed, but the refs killed the seahawks

After mike holmgren didnt go for it on 4th and 3 inches i kept thinking, pleeease replace this guy with Mike Shanahan RIGHT NOW. mike holmgren - why didnt he ride shaun alexander??? thats what got them to the playoffs. he cant put the entire burden on matt hasselbeck (as if he was tom brady or peyton manning). having hasselbeck pass 49 times is ridiculous for a run-heavy team. hasselbeck can handle all that pressure against the panthers and redskins, but not against the steelers. Mike holmgren sometimes its ok to go for it on 4th, like when there are 8 mins left in the game and you know the steelers are exellent at controlling the clock with thier run game. he cant keep giving the ball back to the steelers and expect them to not do anything. alright my frustrations with mike holmgren are out.

It looked like a game where neither team was playing anywhere near their calibur of football - they all got freaked out about the size of the game. The refs made some of the worst calls I've ever seen...how the hell did Hasselback get called for blocking below the waist when the guy whose legs he was taking out HAD THE FOOTBALL IN HIS HANDS. That is by defintion a tackle, duh! I do think Roethlisberger broke the plain, barely.
