Avatar help
OK most of you know how computer illiterate I am. I would like to put one of my pics as my Avatar. I have no idea where to begin or even if I can through my computer
 Or if I have to post the pics somewhere else first. Any help would be appreciated. And please give step by step instruction, because I can follow directions, just don't know what half the stuff does.Lizards

Right click on the pic and do save as.
Save it to your desktop under a name you can remember. Go to profile. Edit avatar. Upload from your computer, if you browse it should be under desktop and the name you assign it. That hopefully should work.

So I can use any of the pics I currently have on my computer? Or does it have to be this one? And thanks for all the help.

lizard i load from my puter to photo bucket then load them here. please note 99% of forums have a size limit on avatars..

Well thanks for all the help, as you can see I got it changed
 You can upload it directly from your computer, so I did. Guess I'm not a illiterate as I thought I just went to edit avatar, and at the bottom, it gives you the option of uploading from the web or your computer It does have a yellow line on the left side, but not sure why it did that.Does anyone know if I can also load pics this way on posts, or do those have to loaded on a site first and then loaded? Lizards

Lizards, they have to be downloaded to a site first, you can only download from your computer for a avatar.P N J
