Angry You Know What's Sad

Just got back from a fishing tournament and we were robbed. Not like you think, rented a slip and every night took out all our gear. But the next morning as we idled out of the no wake and got on our way the boat started to act funny. About five miles from our starting point the engine just quit. Checked out everything but soon realized we were robbed. Someone stole our gas. Siphoned out 45 gallons of petro. What has this world came to? Later on that night there were a total of 5 boats that ran into the same problem. This whole time we were worried about our gear when we should have worried about the gas. Has this happened to anyone else?

If you are a believer in Karma like myself, you can rest assured that whoever did that will get theirs........It just sucks that you wont be there to see it. That really sucks man. Maybe you will end up winning the next one.

Ya that sucks. You may not remember the gas crisis ...maybe not..... locking gas caps made millions during that time peroid.

Wait you will see it again.. Stupid we do not learn from our mistakes...

and to think alot of people want the death penalty outlawed. i cant figure it out, someone can steal from you, yet you cant kill em. well, if we cant kill em, how about a civil action where the house, car, personal items are sold at auction and the victim is given fifty times the value of the item stolen. too much litagation and time lapses from the time of the crime and going to court.
yeah okay, radical thoughts, but no one ever says that things have to change in the judicial system. i feel bad that someone(s) stole your gas.
i would hope that the thieves are caught.

I was thinking about leaving my boat in a slip for 3 nights next weekend. I might have to change my mind. However, I guess if they want the gas bad enough, it won't matter if it is in a slip or on a trailer. That's ashame when you have folks that low in class!

Wow. I can't believe the fisherman charged you for a tow unless you offered payment. Sorry about the stolen gas, but in my neck of the woods it happens more often than not. We call such punks tweekers.

They're usually meth addicts.

No he didn't charge us we paid him for his trouble. He tried not to except any money so my partner put it in his glove box when he wasn't looking. I figured we owed him cause he could have kept going on and acted like he didn't see us.

The marina called and told us they caught the person who did it. It was a rich guy that owend a big ole house boat. Now I can believe that..........

Jeez what a prick cant believe it was someone that had a lot of money if he doesnt want to shell out for the fuel to run his gigantic boat dont get it that is how I see it......I am glad they found out who it was though you should pay him a visit (I am just kidding prolly not a good idea to hunt him down)....The situation the person put you in really outraged me and the person lacks morals and feelings for others sorry to hear it happened man good luck on your future tournaments

Everett, I think it would be easier to siphon gas out from a boat on a trailer than one floating in the water.

I havent seen the gas caps or whatever these big boats use. Can you get locking ones? Or should I patent that idea now, lol?

Gas is only going to go up the next 5 years. Although it may level off a little this year, I think.

I was told that he made a little pump, that would siphon the gas out straight from other boats to his. All he had to do was go from slip to slip and pull gas until he was full.......

This individual may just get his "jollys" from doing this kinda stuff. He don't need it but it's his own "don't get caught" way of doing these things.
Oh don't worry, he "may" be back getting his "jollys" from someone else.
