pretty good day
Got to the lake at about 10:30 and the water temp. was 59. I had on a 3/8 oz. finesse jig and a wacky rigged yum dinger. We went to a small pocket where I missed 2 small fish on the jig,it was my first time really using a jig so I didn't feel too bad about them. But then we went out to the main lake where I missed a 3 pounder on the jig. Then we went into a cove where I caught this monster on the dinger.
Yeah, I know i'm smiling a lot but this was my only fish of the day and the biggest bass I've ever seen in that lake and I caught it on #8 line |

Yeah it was a pb,beat my second biggest fish by at least 5 pounds. Not sure what the weight was but my dad and uncle were saying 6 or 7 pounds too. We did throw it back and I made sure it swam away. The one thing I look back and laugh at is when we were back at the ramp and somebody asked me what I got and I told him...I doubt he believed me though

The bass was thrown back, the only way I would keep one was if it was about to die from being hooked too deep.
