Got some Cajun Red!
Well, I was at wall mart last night getting stuff for dad's day, and I had some cash, so I went over to the fishing section, got him a few things, and a spool of 12lb Cajun red line smooth casting, for my crankbait reel (not because they say it disappears). It was on sale for 4 bucks a spool, so I got that rather than Trilene XL. That night I spooled it up my reel, took a few casts. Seems like good line, pretty low memory and thinner my just a bit than Sufix Elite. I also noticed that it's rather low stretch.
Anyways, I think I'll write a crank bait line review for the stuff in a mouth or so after I get some use out of it!

I used it a while back and was not impressed enough to every spool it up again . Maybe i got a bad spool or something but it had a ton of memory and was just crap to deal with .

Had it on a casting rod and took it off. Burned my thumb to much thumbing the spool. Have it on a spinning reel works fine there.

I've got a couple full spools lying around somewhere. If someone wants them, just pay shipping and they're yours.

Someone gave me some that I gave to a neighbor. Heard he gave it to someone. Hope I don't end up with it again.

I also tried the Cajun Red, last year and was not satisfied with it. It had a ton of memory and quite a bit of stretch.

The only time I like using that stuff is in a spincast reel... otherwise for baitcast and spinning reel, the several spools I had were just junk... I switched to Pline CX and never looked back.

Yeah, I'm pretty much with you John! Memory is minimal , stretch is a little on the low side (a good thing). My only complaint so far is the abrasion resistance if kinda bad. Otherwise I like it pretty good!
