Default What kind of boat would you all suggest?

My wife and I are in the process of looking for a boat. In order to keep the wife happy we need to buy a (I hate to say it) a fish/ski combo. My limitations are:

No longer than 18 feet in length
No more than 135 HP In/Out
No more than 115 HP Out

We are looking at used for around $8000.00 with a trailer.

What should I look for? What should I look out for?

Thanks in advance!!!

As for what you are looking at stratos makes some very fine combo's and very nicely priced. They are the BETTER cookie cutter boats and serve BOTH purposes VERY WELL.

in a word stratos. there fish and ski are kickin just remember the net cause they sit very high in the water.. the 150's run 65 easy handles like dream rides better. hole shot second to none.. if your are going fish and ski remember skiing requires horse power. 135 aint enough trust me. 150 min..

Flyrod

I am assuming you have that particular boat. If ya do I would love to see a pic and here about some of the numbers you are turning. The Legend that is now made has been a boat that I would like to here about its performance. The original legend went under do to some legal issues they had. They where splashing the hulls and got caught up in court battles. Let us know.

Fastlaser,

I'm don't own one, but there has been a lot of positive reaction to this new Legend model. Orders are backed up a bit, so I hear.
I was jokingly suggesting that you need a pure bass rig more than a spouse.
Anyway, should I win the Lotto, I'll be ordering new Legends for myself and a couple of friends.
You can go http://www.bassboatcentral.com/, select BBC Boards, then scroll down to the Legend owners forum. Lots of info there, and Legend has a nice website too.
From what I can gather, Legend is on the rise and makes a great boat.

I suppose that bullet has NOTHING to do with either the cocaine or prostitution industry.
