Based on my travels (I have been coast to coast in a car), the 3 states with the worst drivers: Michigan, Georgia and California. I still have not been to New England so I cannot say anything about that area of the US (yet).

I'd have to agree about the bad drivers in Michigan... This has been proven to me every time I'm around Detroit airport around rush hour! Everybody seems to drive on the expressways like they're race tracks. If you're only going 5-10mph over the speed limit, you practically get run over.

I do think all the old people who shouldn't be driving should be sent to florida. Some old lady pulled out in front me the other day... If I wasn't paying attention, I woulda hit her...

I live in the snow capital of the world, we get as much or more in our general area that anywhere... Look it up. And still every year first major snowfall causes tons of accidents. My cousin owns a body shop and calls snow "pennies from heaven"
