Default Johnson trouble?????

Friday I hooked my Nitro up to Water ears to run it befor heading out Saturday. It cranked up hard so my Brother pulled the cover and flipped what he thought was manual choke.... Well it made a hissing sound like it had dumped air out of it now it will not start or run. I noticed it has a air fitting on it. Why? and what pressure should it be at. BTW.... it is a 95 Johnson Traker 60 3 Cylinder. HELP PLEASE Trying to avoid that outragous Marina repair bill.

Thanks

Jerry Martin

I just got off phone with marina. Not a pressure thing but for fogging. Whew he said the hissing was line cracking on canister for fuel/air ratio. An on the shelf part. He acted like no biggy.
