Default Think I spun a hub

I was on the lake the other day and went to make a short run. I got on plane and started to trim up a bit and all of a sudden the boat jumped to the left and came off plane with the check engine alarm going off. I could restart the motor and it would idle fine with no alarms but the second I tried to put it under a load and give it some gas it would make a strange sound as the rpms came up and wouldn't go anywhere, then the alarm would go off. By the way it acted I think I spun the hub but I didn't hit anything at all so if that is what happened I guess it is a freak deal. If it is anything serious then it will suck to be without the boat, especially since I have only had it out twice now but at least it's under warranty.

Place it in gear and try to move the prop,if it moves yes, permits one to idle thats about it,as it slips, hub is relatively inexpensive, less so than a lower unit or total prop.
Havnt a clue about the alarm unless over reving.
Hint keep more than one hub and more than one prop.On a trip away make sure you take them.

Good luck, hope it's not serious and just a 'little bump in the road'.
