Prayers please.

I know I been askin for a lot of them lately, but just don't know what else I can do when there's nothing I can do. As I said before, the gf had surgery a couple weeks ago, and she's been healing great. Last week her daughter tested positive for the flu. (didn't know there was a test for that). Daughter is has been sick for a week and is still sick but getting better, but the gf has gotten sick now, she's going to the doc tomorrow. that close after spinal surgery on her neck is really not a good time to have the flu. Her immune system is down as it is and I can only imagine how miserable it is having a incision on your neck and a new metal plate in the neck, then have sneezing, coughing and the etc's associated with the flu on top of that. I wish so much I could take on some if not all of this agony for her. They, especially my gf, could sure use a few prayers. Thanks guys.

praying donald. as oyu know, I got sick this past sunday, and now lisa is sick also. she went to the doctor and he said we both have type A flu, whatever that means. i am on the down hill side, but lisa is full blown. and with her condition about her kidney and the meds.....it is harder for her to heal up. so not meaning to steal your thread, please include lisa in the prayers gang. as i and lisa as well will include EVERYONE who is sick.


this year there is an epidemic of this flu going around everywhere. stay wel folks.

hey donald...our doctor gave us a prescription for TAMIFLU. and i am using munniex-d. it has done WONDERS for me so far.

Prayers sent for everyone. The flu strain that's going around now is pretty bad. It sure isn't good for folks with weakened immune systems.

Got you guys in mine for certain. I hope he can give her something for it tomorrow. But there's certain things she can't take because of the surgery or what she's taking to help heal her from the surgery. Like she can't take Ibprophin (Sp?). Has something to do with it hendering her healing. But I'm sure he'll be able to give her something.

Thank you all for the prayers and she asked me to thank you too. It's confirmed. She has the flu. Doc gave her tamiflu and some cough syrup with the codine. She'll be knocked out for a couple days.

Thank you Joedog, however I refuse to take a flu shot. I get sicker from the shot than I would just to suffer from the flu for a few days. Last one I got made me sick as a dog. Lost my voice for two weeks and kept a cough for a month.
