Default Name ideas for a dog?

This comming sunday, the 26th, we will be picking up a new addition to our family, a 10 week old female yellow lab. We are now trying to think of a name for her, and have a couple in mind. I thought to myself, I bet I could get some ideas from some of the folks here. I know there are plenty of dog owners. Our golden retrievers name is Maggie, so thats out. The wife and I both like Molly, but are open to other ideas. I thought maybe Sasha, but the wife hates that name. I want the name to be fairly short and simple. So any ideas?

Goldy. My best friend used to have a golden retriever named Goldy, she was an amazing dog, then she got hit by a car =[

ANYWAYS I always thought it was an easy and nice name.

Sorry to hear about the car incidents. I've been through that myself, only driving the car.

How about "Assool", an old Dutch name.

Can't go wrong with "Zook" or "Reb".

Ok, after much deliberation and backs and forths, we decided on Zoey. When I get a few pics uploaded, I'll post a couple. She's a real sweetheart of a dog. I think she's got momma wrapped around her little finger. LOL

haha, I'm sure I will someday BL. But so far at just 9 weeks old and only actually living inside a house for one day she seems to be getting the idea of going to the bathroom outside already. woohoo She was kept inside an outdoor pen and garage up untill this point. Watching my old golen retriever may be giving her some usefull help in the what to do area.

Name her after an X-Girlfriend or Wife... That always makes the womenfolk happy. ;-)
