Aw, go ahead and tell it. If it is a recent one I am thinking of it's just another misadventure .

too many to single just one , but I did get to see a brand new chevy suburban and trailer go all the way into the ohio river on a small concrete ramp that had that dreaded drop at the end of it, all I saw were two windshield wipers going back and forth under water after it was all said and done lol

Drunks in the keys (loading)
1. Can't back the trailer down the ramp 2. Get out of the vehicle and fall 3 times on their butt 3. Almost tear off the guide posts on the side of the ramp 4. Can't get her on the trailer straight even with no wind down in the bowl 5. forget to put their outdrives up and ding up the skeg and ss props 6. Come in too late as the dockmaster has left, locked the ramp, and parked a truck in front of the ramp. (none of this happened to us, we just watching as we cleaned our catch trying not too laugh too hard or loud) |

I STILL won't tell! I won't! I won't!
I did enough inadvertant damage with the "Bassers. Rejoice!" post. (Try to focus on the SkeeNauseate boat, NOT the decal on the truck! Actually, I think some insipid 'Sip [See: WrongWhorn] PhotoShopped that into the picture to cover up...see below.) http://www.freemobilefun.net/wallp/1...n-longhorn.jpg A cheery Boomer Sooner (and a Gig'em!) to all. it says acess forbidin... this the boat plug story-yep heard it still laughing about that- i hit a rail road crossin that was very rough towing my boat. i launched and hauled it 5 miles no problem. went to run to the next spot had 8" of water on the floor. ran back to the launch loaded the boat pulled it out. removed batterys found that the hose to the aerator was broke at the pump nozzle. removed the hose pulled the clamp, after some whittlin i put the hose back on clamped it tight been fine since -2 years now- 4 years or so ago i was launch at circle drive -badin- this runt with no brains tells me very rudely to move my f-ing truck or else. i stepped out of my boat told him to bite me.-not the words i used- he took a swing and missed.i did not... he ended up in the water.. aint seen his sorry butt since. zooker

The best one that I saw was a guy threw out the anchor instead of tying to the boat dock. Never have seen that before.

I warned you that would happen if you kept surfing for "Sexy Sultry Sheep in Saran Wrap(TM)" and "One-legged Hotties Named Ilene" or the Japanese Version, "One-regged Hotties Named Irene". If you think those're hot, here's a favorite of Reb's http://trae.traeblain.com/wp-content.../listeater.jpg There's a story behind this one, but Reb can tell it...and, NO, he doesn't know her personally. One of the many spectacular and great things I've done over the years happened this year. Got out, loaded the boat, and had the rope in my hand to tie on(Launching by myself.) Backed the boat in the pond, pulled out, and no rope tied on My boat was floating away. Now being as I love gators and snakes so much, you can imagine how fast I swam to my boat, and launched myself into it rotfl. I of course was just laughing, cuz some folks actually stopped on the road to watch all of this.
I had very quickly stripped down to my shorts(no not underwear you pervs), before making the swim, and obviously got some attention Lizards

just in the last few weeks, i launched my boat, forgot to put the drain plug in, boat filled with some water, pulled it out, backed down again and told my girl to unhook and push it off the trailer, she tried and tried, well, i got out and tried, someone from the bank called out, take the strap off the back of the boat, pulled the boat back out of the water, and released the strap, i was embarrassed over that. well, we went up stream for a distance, stopped, killed the motor and picked up the anchor which was not tied to the boat, threw the anchor overboard, thinking i would tie it to the boat, over the anchor was in the water. wrong. last thing i saw was the rope sinking in the water. water was muddy and did not know how deep. bright side to that is, i went back a few days later and got my anchor back.
well, after all that, things settled down and we proceeded to catch some fish, floating pretty fast down the river, but having fun. and that is the way it all happened. |
