Default Yamamoto Swim Senkos

I was just wondering if anyone (particularly in the south) has been using these baits and what techniques/rigging have been used to catch fish.

I've been using them a lot lately. I use them texas rigged with my version of the punch skirt with a 1/16 oz weight.

I've been using them weightless but I may give that a try

i've used them primarily in a pearl color, both weightless and t-rigged (pegged and sliding) and, oddly enough to me, I've mostly had success with them on smallies.

I fish them a couple ways, aside from the standard swim. A jig style hopping retrieve of pop-pop-pause while reeling slack - and another where it's a diving swim (reeling constantly at a slow to medium pace with a drag on the rod or by slowing the retrieve for a couple seconds.

Don't know if this helps, but G'luck!

KSH, Here is the rig I've been using, although I've since fixed some of the problems with the rig and it works great now.

The other thing is to use it like a swimbait. a 4/0 or 6/0 Owner Beast swimbait hook (weighted) and just swim it.

Another member on here also told me the tail end of beat up ones make good swim jig trailers.
