Day late and a dollar short Bob, this thing has been discussed to death. Just do a search on A-rig.

Little late, but no big deal. BASS has banned it for elite series, along with the double fluke rig. A couple of whiners got their way.

I am planning to make a few of my own in the next few weeks. In my case I have boxes full of clips and swivels so all I need are the wires and to bend them in place.

I plan to make mine un-weighted since most of the lakes are fairly shallow and baitfish stay close to the top when feeding.

I saw so many of these rigs all weekend it was ridiculous.......

But they looked pretty cool in the big tank. Many of the Pro's talked about them and were very specific about them "Don't expect to catch fish on every cast. There will be a time and a place that they will be effective." And some said be aware of the cost because just the rig runs $12 to $25 without the heads or swimbaits. And they do hang up very easily.

And I doubt too many people will be able to cast them all day. I feel sorry for those who try.....you better have a good supply of Advil or a good therapist.

If these rigs are as effective as they say, wont they have the effect of increasing the pressure bass populations feel?
