Fishing book

hello everyone, new to this site and am looking for some advice. I don't know to much about fishing yet and am looking to learn more. Are there any good books out there that people would recommend reading to learn how to find fish, what bait to use etc... I bought my first boat last year and pretty much just go out and throw a lure in the water which is fun and I catch some fish but want to become more knowledgeable about the sport. Any help would be great.

kevin (the owner of this site) has a book here he and several others HIGHLY reconmend. i have read it so i won't give an endorsment either way. don't talk about anything i don't know anything about oyu see.

other than that, read the threads and posts HERE. there is more knowledge on here than oyu'll find most anywhere in my opion. ask questions, no matter how dumb it may seem. there are no stupid questions, only stupid answers. and if we heard it a thousand times, YOU haven't heard the answer. so ask away friend.

ps, do NOT ask about waterdogs though. that is the ONLY question that will invoke us, BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Kevin Van Dams "Bass Stratagies" the revised edition. I highly recommend it. I've been reading it myself.
