May your stuffing be tasty
May your turkey plump, May your potatoes and gravy have nary a lump. May your yams be delicious and your pies take the prize, and may your Thanksgiving dinner stay off your thighs!... Be thankful for what you have to give, not just what you have received. Happy thanksgiving, Carpy |

As I'm taking a break from carving a ten-pound chunk of SPAM(TM) into the shape of a turkey, and my cats are putting on their *Sunday-go-to-meetin' fur for the occasion, I realize the importance of this day.
Can't be with family today, but I have much to give thanks for. Thanks to Reb for the invitation to share the day with him and his mom. Maybe next year. Thanks to the OU Sooners team for being a "Storied" football program. Thanks to my high school alma mater for making the playoffs. Thanks to those who have kept us free. Thanks for the ability to make a cast, work a lure, fight a fish. Thank heavennnnnn, for leetle girllllllls (They grow up in zee most delightful wayyyyy.) Well, there's much more to be thankful for, but let's not hog the bandwidth. God Bless You All! FlyRod Putting the pie in the oven right now! *Miss Monicat Meowinsky has put on a little weight. Had to help her zip up. Winchester T. Katt's furry finery still fits. Mine doesn't. |
