I've seen several people using the high vis yellow Power Pro as a mainline with a fluoro leader for drop shotting. It's easier for "line watchers" to see I guess.

Line visibility is more important for you than it is for the fish, unless you fish crystal clear water where fish can see the line most of the times line visibility doesnīt matter.

One of the reasons why I donīt like fluoro line is that I canīt see the line, line watching is important for me, not only for fishing bottom contact baits but also to manuever cranks & spinners through the limbs of the places I fish the most with lots of standing timber.

yeah i dont hink it affects the fish except in ultra clear water ... also its helpful if you can see the line (i can see the green of power pro and big game).... it helps if you fishin jigs or shaky heads or somethin the fish will pick up and swim away... like yesterday at my pond... fishing texas rig had slack to let it fall....... saw it dropping a lot faster then normal... put the rod tip up to get the slack and set the hook .... boom 5 ounce bass.... yeah it was small but it proves a point.... not sure about yellow line tho.... it may be a marketing stunt

Some people I know have trouble to see the green braid so they are moving to red or yellow. I think I will try it this year just to see how it feels with a leader. A lot of our lakes have 8-12' visibility and some you can see 30'!

I don't use it, but some people like it for fishing deep water and look at their line to see any thumps, it just help find the hit that you would feel most of the time.
