Default what is this?

Got caught up on some submerged line Sat and when I pulled up this plug was tied to the end. I've never seen one before, all I know is that it runs like a Trap, made of Balsa, no rattles, and no identifying logos. Anybody recognize it?Click image for larger version

X2 it has no bill, and sub company is into small swimbaits
I think some what related however, jap not this world but theirs,or prototype possibly both
You now have a 5 dollar bid, seriously it is a nice oddity, and wish I had pulled it up,have gotten a few most needing hook and or paint replacement, none however with any mystery involved(easy known mfg) and in great shape.
Bet you could put it on ebay say nothing about it and have people all over it as odd.
I did pick up at a yard sale one close in nature made by fred young but with a bill

The thing that strikes me as most different about this lipless bait is the placement of the line tie, it is very far forward as compared to most modern day lipless baits. The only bait that I can find that is similar in design is a Cordell Shifty shiner.

Not the same bait but similar in design.

Hey T5 Def looks almost identical...is that your keyboard or a file photo? Usually you see manuf.'s use consistant eye and paint patterns regardless of color. The difference in the eyes makes me wonder if it might be a clone of the one in your pic or vice versa. ********red gill markings were apparently added by prev owner********Of course I probably have a piece of lint in my belly button that is more important than what this is....but once something like this starts rolling around in my head it takes on a life of its own.
