do fish go after a lure people lose
i was wondering does bass and other types of fish go after lures
people looses when the line snaps like me... or do they swim on by without noticing the lure not moving just laying there for them to strike does this make sense |

if one was interested in it before it broke, there is a chance the fish will hit the lure 30 seconds or so after you lose the lure but considering what the lure is doing right before your line snaps might make it closer to impossible (especially if the lure is covered in weeds, stuck on a log, etc.). people catch fish while deadsticking plastics but there at least needs to be some movement, a lure sitting on the bottom for 3 weeks has nothing to worry about.

Other thing is, when the fish bites that lure, theres nobody to set the hook, there isn't much motion, and the fish will drop it. (Most Likely)

Several times I have tossed a worn out worm over the side of the boat only to have a bass nail it. Kodak moment.

just the other day i was fishing and had line problem using a really soft jelly worm and when the line went tight and stopped coming off the reel the lure ripped right off the hook and landed about 15 feet away from.
being a jelly worm it floats...about 3 seconds after it landed a nice 18 inch bass came up and engulfed it!!! |
