Default My hottest color this fall !!!

I just poured some of these up the other night and have been killing em a couple times out. Its got chartruese flake, and charcoal flake, I wont share how to get the other purpleish hue.
Thinking about adding it to the site, what says you?

i wasnt necessarily going after the shad color scheme. it just so happened to turn out that way. and you are right, it does look like one. the chartruese in it just throws the color enough. .

no, its available in all my baits, once I get it up on the site. ill have to modify the recipe for other baits. the salt in the uncle sinkos gives it that cloudy white color by default, so id have to add some white to the mix to get it that color in other baits, but its certainly doable.
I plan to pour some of my 4 inch jerkbaits (not on the site yet) with that color.

looks almost identical to the zoom super fluke.
I also have a 4 inch slug-o mold ready to go too- Those things are about impossible to find now, and a friend really wanted some.

but at the moment, I dont have any pics. im working on perfecting the mold. I make a lot of mine by hand, and this one, because of the hook keeper gap, is posing a few issues. shouldnt be much longer though.

That is a nice color, I had some Spike It senko's just like that last year, and I too had alot of sucess with them. Unfortunately, I purchased them at a wal mart near San Antonio somewhere and have not been able to find that brand or color locally.

Want that "purple hue"? Here's one way...
Take a purple Sharpie or other marking pen. Dab a little on a CLEAN fingertip, then run it down the length of the lure. "Massage" it a little then wait a day or two for the ink to run a bit. Works like a charm.
Takes practice, but it DOES work.

Nice work, MMIB! Looks great.

hey MMIB, would you be able to put a tail similar to the Zoom Ultravibe craw and horny toad onto a Fluke? That way you can have the profile of a shad but a nice vibration and action for a topwater?

Thanks for the site link DEbass'n. Ive been busy as heck the last couple weeks and havent gotten to the boards much..
Rodman Rob. I could certainly try to do a combination like that, I just fear the action would be severely compromised if I did so. Think of the way a fluke glides through the water now, and then throw a heavier , bulkier tail on it. Not only would it not swim right, it may just sink from the tail end first.
Ill take a look at it though, see what I can some up with....

Ill likely be running some winter specials here soon, like a buy 4 get one free something like that. Unfortunately as a hand poured plastics guy, the cost is really too high to do any huge discounts. Wish I had more room to move on it though.
Thanks
