Inexpensive rods
Stopped into Gander Mt, the bait monkey has started on me again , and saw that the Rapala HM 30 rods were being sold for $14.95. I thought that for that amount the rods couldn't be much. I picked up a 6'6" M/F baitcasting rod and was impressed . For anyone looking for an inexpensive rod check them out.

My favorite lower end rod is the Quantum Torison, sold at Wally World for $20. It is made with IM6 Graphite. I have the 6'6" MH for Spinnerbaits... Great Rod!

My favorite would have to be the St.Croix Premier Crankbait Series...
What application do you use your Sojourn for, BB? -Buzz |

I don't have one, but I've fished with them. Spinnerbaits on one and jigs on the other. Nice rods for only $20, but I am a fan of Shimano Rods.

Cherrywoods indeed are unbelieveably incredible at that price. I have one myself.
Congrats on the new Rapala rod and thank goodness you didn't get a Rapala sportsman's classic rod. I am a Rapala fan, but the rod is a piece of crap and I also got it on sale for $15.00. I have since converted it to a split grip.
