Default Winter weather

Here is a little something for all of you northern guys. My family in VA said they got snow last night. 90 degrees today in So Cal. I am the official slip and slide life guard today.

You could say it Jim. I know I deserved it for the posting. If it make you feel any better, I caught nothing this morning. Had three solid strikes, but just could not get them in.

At least you got a line in the water without having to worry about frostbite .

Its in the 50s here today but it feels like the 20s with a cold humid 30 mph wind. Wish the cold fronts would stop aligning with my days off.

In good news, there is a thin green film of dust on the car and after this snap we will have 5 straight days of 70s. Time is on my side here.

I have flowers blooming in my yard and it's supposed to snow 5-9" or more tonight into tomorrow. But I'm not surprised. One of our biggest snows ever in VA happened this week. We can get snow until the end of March and sometime later. If we get the snow then I get a day or two off. I can spend that time working on the business.

Bama had to walk because the wheel hadn't been invented yet. It was uphill both ways because the earth was still one large land mass.

Actually back then , the earth was still mostly ocean...with a few nubs of mountains stacking up from tectonic plate shifting.

Not even I would make a comment that would bring the wrath of any Mom. My mom's kids are not overly bright, but not a damn one of us is stupid

Ended up with about 7" of the white stuff. Most snow we've had in a couple years...combined!! Got a few limbs busted off the pine trees that line my property. Looks like I've got some cover to sink this spring .
