Well I did it
I finally put on my big boy britches and "pulled the trigger" on a new handgun. I bought a Springfield XD Sub Compact in .40 S&W. I haven't heard he go bang yet but so far I love the gun.

Congrats!! I'm a bit of gun nut myself. I've got a Glock 27, which is the sub compact .40 S&W. I absolutely love it. It is a little on the snappy side but once you get used to it it is a blast to shoot. Springfield makes great guns, you should be very happy with your purchase.
Do you guys have concealed carry permits in MO? Last edited by Jrob78; 02-16-10 at 01:16 PM. |

Nice!
I prefer the .38, .357 or .44s myself. I like the 357 revolvers especially, just fun to shoot and best "bang" for the buck for me (just a preference). Hopefully going to get another 38 and (finally) my concealed permit for FL. |

Very nice gun. I didn't know california allowed anyone to own a gun...
I've been looking at getting a pistol myself because there are just to many crazies out there. Here's the one I like a lot. I plan to get it in a 9mm. http://www.sigsauer.com/Products/Sho...&productid=121

California may screw up a lot of things but being from Missouri they can't keep me from owning a gun...........yet.

Before I could finish my sentence for asking about a concealed permit, they said no. Walking away, head drooped low. Kory, holler at me in the chat room.
