Default Tip I picked up couple years ago

Take Alco-Seltzer jam some small chunks in the belly or the bottom of the tubes and flip it on a bedding basses bed and get ready the fizzy actions and bubbles make the bass mad..Presto the fight is on

I have used this several time and produced some fish that would not hit.

Good luck hope I'm not duplicating any post if so sorry kinda new

Thanks Will

ok, question....what if the bass swallows the alka seltzer? won't it kill the fish? seen where it is against the law to feed them to the sea gulls, cause it explodes the birds. for real, just like raw rice. they eat too much rice and it makes their bellys explodes. same as the alka seltzers.

I dont think teh alka seltzer will hurt the bass and it probably wont be hung over the next day after the release. Ha Ha Good tip it does work. They teach this at bassmaster univ. Fish2win

Thanks for the tip. Gotta try it this spring. Can't see where small chunks could hurt any Bass.

Wow this seems like a great idea! Wouldnt the oxygen tablets work the same way? The ones that you drop in bait tanks etc?

birds blow up cause they have a one way digestive tract.-they can't fart or burp- fish can blow the bubbles out of there gills.. it might cure gill maggots now that think of it..
