keith all you need for cats is some chicken livers and some of YOUR panty hose. lol. wrap the live in the hose....hook........throw out. wait.........snatch.

Ahem....I have two very serious catfish rigs.

How many 40 lb'ers would we need to feed everybody?

They absolutely will, and even more so if it's tipped with 6 oz of skipjack herring.

By the way, at the KY Lake gathering two years ago, I caught a channel cat on a Roadrunner crappie jig....surprised the heck out of me.

I won't be eating any 40lb catfish with enough mercury in em to run a thermometer.

Maybe some smaller 20 inchers though. By the way, if I have to fillet a 40lb catfish, I better bring a katana!
