Great pictures! I am glad several of you guys got to go experience the Classic. When we went the the Classic in Shreveport last year I vowed to go to every Classic I was able to go to, it was just a great time. Britney and I missed this years Classic so much that Friday night we even talked about making a overnight road trip south to see day 2 and the final day. We thought it through a little more and decided to watch it on ESPN360 instead.

I wish I had gotten a chance to go when they held it on the James River back in the 80's. I don't think they'll be holding it up in the Mid-Atlantic again. Or at least until they move it back to the late summer or fall.

Hahaha Good one. I took lots of pics on the bridge in the album. Hey Bubba how about that dang PoPo that tried to keep people off the bridge. Just had to laugh at that some. Thankless job for sure.

Thumbs up

I'd love to make it to see a classic some time. The wife would even go with me-I think

Yeah I was laughing about that too. They were stacked on there when I drove through, but ran off by time I got parked and back at the bridge. But there one still some stragglers. One guy had the audacity to tell the cop to hold on a minute. The cop hollered you get off the bridge or you get a ticket. He got off the bridge. Puss!! hahahahaha

I would love to see one... maybe when the Open comes to Lake Seminole in October...
of course the problem there is the lack of roads and public "viewing" areas along the lake.

Those were really great dude. Thanks for sharing. Inspires me to go any event that's held next in my neck of the woods, even if it's just the weigh in. Would much prefer to actually get to watch these guys fishing during a tourney though.

We almost didn't go to the creek but when I heard how many were fishing in there we had to make the detour from the Expo and very glad we did. I hope to have a boat to go see the next one and if not my buddy Chris has a pontoon boat so that would have been cool for this Classic. Think we would have got a TV spot sitting on the pontoon, cooler full of beer and grilling up some food?

I bet if you invited a pro or two over for a burger or a dog they'd take a five minute break and join you. Especially if they were down wind of you grillin' some brats at lunch time.
