I tried passing Spam off as foie gras once. They busted me when they saw the empty can in the garbage.....

Processed lunch meat, sold in blue cans. Very popular in the South and Hawaii.....
  Sorry.....you threw me a hanging curveball right over the middle of the plate, belt-high. I had to swing at it. Foie gras is goose liver. Very expensive, only for snooty folks. My story was entirely fictitious, by the way.
