Default Introducing myself

Hello Everyone!
I just joined the board and I'm looking forward to meeting all of you. I stumbled my way in here but I like what I see!
I'm from Northern California and LOVE bass fishin. I "specialize" if I can use such a term in big bass (when possible) and lots of little ones the rest of the time.
I have a passion for jigs and swimbaits but use whatever is necessary to get the job done. As I said, I look forward to getting to know you all!

Matt

Yep, that's me. I've been away from the boards (and too often, the water) for a while building a business but what can I say... its that time of year and the fish are calling!

Welcome to the forum, maybe you can shed some light on the best swim baits that work for you. I just look at that high price and can't figure which one to try.

If you would like share with us some things that may work in the south please do so.

Nope, none at all. However, in the past I've answered a few questions for him as everyone used to confuse us and I knew his product line pretty well from personal use.

Welcome, Supermat! Vacaville, huh? Back in the mid 1980s I spent a lot of time very close that working with Explosive Technologies on one of my aircraft projects (can't discuss that though). The one thing that I remember clearly about Vacaville was the fruit and nut stands on the roadsides, you could get a huge bag of pistacio nuts for almost nothing! I think you guys grow them around there or something, that and almonds.

Welcome to the site, hope you enjoy it and can share some of that Delta fishing expertise with us! (I would almost bet you have spent some time on Folsum Lake as well?)

Haha, yeah, that's about all there is to Vacaville. It might be a little bit bigger but not much has changed. As for Folsom, I've fished it more often than I'd like to remember. I hate that darn lake! Haha! Now the delta... that's more my style.
