Default I'm excited!

OK, just to start off, I'm not trying to brag, I'm just very very excited.

My new Revo Skeet Reese came in the mail today. Let me say, I'm not a person to get 280 bucks and blow it all on a reel or rod. I'd rather get less expensive models and get both. Soo... I was planning on using my christmas money to get a Revo SX or the new curado. Then, while looking at reels on ebay, my dad found some awesome deels on most all the abu reels. Including the Skeet Reese for.... wait for it.... 180 bucks!! (and free shipping) I fell in love with the looks of these reel the day it came out by the way.

since the auction ended in 2 hours, we ordered one. That was last tuesday. After friday, my dad emailed the guy and he said that he put more reels on ebay than he soul dhave at one time and got behind. Last night my dad got the email that it iwas in the mail. And when I got home from school today, it was here!!! This reels is even more awesome in person. (and it looks real good on one of my dad's Loomis rods. :d

Anyways, the seller's name is the_best_junk. He only sells abu reels, but they are super cheap, From looking over my REvo, notihng seems to be wrong with it. All reels are new in box as well. We have a feeling this guy works for Abu Garcia or an abu dealer. And to confirm the Abu Garcia made in Korea thing, the Skeet Reese is too. Kinda sad, but oh well.

I'm off to stare at my new reel some more.

BB

Congrats on the new reel BB. I hope that it works as well as it looks, and a great buy at $180!!

Where is the guy from? If he is from the Spirit Lake, IA area then chances are he works for Pure Fishing (Berkely). They are a new customer of mine, I just haven't been there, yet.....

it is a cool looking reel. when i played with one at bass pro i decided that it didn't feel any different to me than my revo sx's so i didn't see the point in paying that much more for it but sounds like you got a great buy.

MIbasser, he is from IA, so that is probably why he sells them so cheap. If you guys are in the market for a new Abu reels, I think he carries all the revos including the winch. I saw on his feedback, he used to sell the revo for $140. I would've bought a few and resold them.

You guys don't know how much worse the cabin fever has gotten since I've had this reel (a total of 4 hours) Maybe we can move that get togther to someplace warmer, ya know like Mexico, and to a closer date, ya know like tomarow.

You don't have to go south of the border BB.
High of 67 here tomorrow with nothing but sunshine.

Some of our lakes will start spawning in the next 2-3 weeks.

I totally get what you are talkin about. My new Revo Winch came today from tackle warehouse. I spooled it up, put it on my crankin rod... I can't wait to use it on Saturday! There's a fishing expo this weekend about an hour from me too!!! This might be an expensive weekend.
