As far as I know, Ranger owns Stratos and just recently bought Champion boats. Today I was looking at Stratosboats.com and saw they have a new line of Elite boats that look like they may be Champions rebadged...

Check em out...

www.stratosboats.com

And I hear that Ranger doesn't really own them, but they're all owned by one big corporation/entity.

Genmar is the company that owns all 3 of them. Stratos has already been building certain models of the Champion boat so it's easy for them to rebadge them as Stratos Elite boats.

Ahhhh... you know what... I accidentally merged your initial post with MississippiBoy's reply I bet. I thought his post was actually from you and it was a URL correction (your original post's link wasn't working). To make a long story short... it was a goof on my part and I merged your post into his, not vice versa.

Unfortunately I can't undo it... my apologies.

Genmar doesn't own them anymore. Platinum Equity purchased Stratos, Ranger, Champion and rumor has it they also bought Triton .Anyways that is who owns them now. And yes the Stratos Elite series is the old Champion Elites series. Supposed to be the same hull out of the same molds, just with Stratos decals.

And its official... Triton is now owned by Platinum Equities along side Ranger, Stratos and Champion.... and to top it off all Triton production is being moved to the Ranger plant in Flippin, AR...

are Skeeter and BassCat the only independent bass boat companies left? It seems like everyone is owned by Platinum or tracker marine nowadays.
