I've seen a new drop shot/finesse technique but I haven't tried it yet. Can you say "Inchi Wacky"?

How about these?

Sour Gummy Worms rigged on a small jighead:

Rainbow Twizzlers rigged like a jerkbait:

Stretchy Centipede Stress-Reliever Toy

Stretchy Snake Toys

I have to note that the stretchy snake toys have AMAZING action and it is impossible to tell the difference between the swimming action of a real snake and one of these rigged with a hook in the front. The action is far superior to the Doug Hannon snakes, even. The only drawback is that they are so very stretchy that they are difficult to cast, since they stretch out when casting and absorb most of the energy of your cast. You have to sneak with them and cast them from shore. You can sometimes buy these snakes for 50 cents each from a gumball machine.
