I can hear it!
The Woodward Dream Cruise that is! The largest car cruise in country is taking place in Detroit, MI tomorrow along the first paved road in the country: Woodward Avenue.
An estimated 30,000+ cars will park and drive along Woodward Ave 16 miles from Detroit to the suburb of Pontiac and then 16 miles back (that 32 miles takes a good 6-8 hours). There is estimated to be over 1.5 million people in attendance and I'll be one of them. On good weather years, the Dream Cruise brings in more money to Detroit than when the Super Bowl was hosted there or when the World Series was hosted there. My camera is coming with me, but if we're driving the cruise, I don't know how many good pictures I'll get. Either way, it's sure to be a fun day (or at least when we get home and remember that the seats in a '69 Camaro weren't meant to be comfortable for 8+ hours  )BB

On our way home now... the cops shut the cruise down 3 hours early due to an impending severe thunderstorm.
I only managed to snap just short of 2K pictures. Will post some of the better ones after I go through them all. BB
