Default New Bait I got for Christmas

I got a new bait for Christmas, it's pretty sweet. I'm looking forward to catching some nice bass on it this year.

did you have to get a new swimbait rod to go with it? or is it not that bad to cast with an average crank stick

I think it's a little to heavy for a crank stick, but I'm not sure because I never use crank baits. I'm going to use a rod that is ment for lures that are 2-10 oz or one that is for 1-4 oz baits.

I want to start using some of these larger baits too, can anyone recommend a good rod to use for these. If possible, I would like to use the rod for all of my larger baits (cranks, swimbaits, spooks, etc).
