Default Stone Jig

Anyone ever try the stone jig by Mann's? Can you give me the 411 on how well it worked. Also size and colors used as well as type of trailer. Thanks so much.

I really like the stone jig.It was designed to skip with but I don't ever skip with it. I generally use it to pitch with from everything from thick weedbeds to sandbar flats and everything in between. It has a good heavy hook which I like especially. Heavier wire hooks are less apt to tear as easily as a thinner wired hook shank will when horsing them out of heavy cover.I like black n blue year round, hot craw color in the fall and Mikes special when swimming the jig around cover and shoreline structure.Trailer selection is unlimited. I go to a white split tail spinnerbait trailer of single tail grub when using the Mikes special color.I like a Netbait brand tiny paca craw, baby paca craw, paca chunk, Zoom brand super chunk jr,pro chunk trailer, lil' critter craw trailer. Also a Yamamoto baby craw, double tail grub plus a whole bunch more different trailers but these mentioned are my primary trailer types.Ivan
