i have some more pics on my camera i will try to get on here when i get a chance, including another big crappie that woody caught. i was really impressed and the size of some of the crappie this lake yielded. i knew it was a big bass factory but i never heard a word about it being a good crappie lake.

I'm glad someone got a pic of my smallie, since ours didn't turn out very good. Plus, it was a lot darker when we caught it. oh, that was my first smallie too. Sad ain't it. I live right next to Lake Erie and I catch my first smallie at KY lake.

I got a Few to share with everyone.

Woody had Great fishing the first day we went out, The bandit 200 Chatr/Rootbeer was the Ticket! Good job & i had a Great time Woody!

Here is my 2 keepers, thanks to Kevin, One was 3 1/2 and the other was just over 3 1/2 lbs, Caught on a jerk bait Chrome/blue, and Top water Spit'n Image (my confidence bait)

My first fish by the marina (Bedding male) Caught on a wacky rigged green senko

Bama might of had a few in him when this Picture was taken (lol)

And the Car that Caught a Blue gill, Yes you heard right, My dads car a Toyota Yaris got stuck in a pretty deep Puddle on a flooded road leading into the Big bear Marina, i was out fishing with Woody when this happened, and out of no where i see my dad, Wearing an Orange Alcatraz Inmate T-shirt Running threw the back yards of the Condos, his blue jeans Soaked above his Knees, yelling to me from the shore line that he needed a Rope

You talk about a Kodak Moment, Sadly no one took a picture of this, But Zooker saw everything, Zooker came to my dads Aid, along with some other helpful people at the resort, eventually Lifting, and Pulling my dads car out of the 3 ft deep puddle of water, Not long after a Blue gill popped out of the Front Fender, Making it the talk of the campsite that night, Someone made the joke that Toyota trucks are Not good for anything, But their cars sure catch fish. LOL

For me, the trip really represented an opportunity to cut a swath through the south. Over this time I was able to visit Pickwick Lake, Shiloh Battlefield, Big Bear on Kentucky lake and the get together, the family roots in clarksville tn, huntsvegas, lake guntersville and lake jordan earlier today. Here are pics fromt he entire odyssey.

This battery was at the center of fighting at Shiloh, aiming at the infamous "Hornets nest". It was at the time the largest amount of artillery ever assembled on the north american continent.
