Partly cloudy
My good buddy, Rather B. Fishin and I hit the river today in an attempt to shake off some of the cobwebs and just to
get some of the cold weather blues out of our bodys. I'm sure I'm no different than most of you guys but spring
has been long a coming!!! The snow and rainy weather didn't help matters any either. When RBF and I fish
together, we always have a great time. The morning started out with a new personal best LM......7lb 11oz. She put up
quite a fight and was full of eggs. After a few pictures and a weigh-in, she was released to be caught another day.
Shortly after releasing Ms. BIG......RBF caught his first LM of the day. A little while later, he yelled out "BIG FISH ON!!!!!"
Shoal Nuff he did!!!! She weighed in at 5lb. 5oz. The day started out like gang busters but
quickly played out. Fishing was tuff to say the least but a great time was had by us both! All fish were caught in
deep water. I can my bigun on a Bagley's Bango Lure and Rather B. Fishin caught his big fish on a Yum Fat Money Minnow. Water temp was between 49 and 50 degrees.
