Clear and cool
9 Dec 2010 - Lake Guntersville Fishing Report – Today, My partner Mike Gerry from Fish Lake Guntersville Guide Service and I hit the water to locate some fish for upcoming trip; We fished the Mid Lake area, Water temp’s ranged from 47 to 50 degrees. With a late start we found blue bird skies and very little wind. We found most are fish in 4-6 FOW around scattered grass using Tightline Jigs, rattle traps, and jerk baits. We caught several nice fish today fishing along creeks and ridges, most in the 2-3 pound range. It’s a typical winter pattern as they are bunched up in small groups. We have dates available in December and have started booking trips for the spring. The Smallmouth fishing has picking up on Tim’s Fords and below Nick-a-jack Dam as well, I’ll be on the Tim’s Ford tomorrow. I have Gift Certificates available on my website for the upcoming year. "Let's go fish’ in”
